Emergency Mortgage Assistance Program (EMAP)

EMAP helps eligible Colorado homeowners keep their homes by assisting with:

  • Homeowners insurance payment
  • Loss of utilities or home energy services
  • Paying off or paying down Chattel Loans
  • Lot rent for owner occupied mobile homes
  • Mortgage defaults, delinquencies, and/or foreclosures
  • HOA payments, delinquencies, and/or liens
  • Past due taxes 

Help with Utility Bills

  • Water shut off – we have seen homeowners get their water turned back on after making a partial payment
  • *Colorado Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) – 1-866-432-8435
    • *Accepts applications between Nov 1st through April 30th​
  • Energy Outreach Colorado – emergency financial assistance with past-due energy bills
  • Contact your utility provider and ask for a budget payment plan
